Essen, 2 October 2007. The agreement concluded in May 2007 between Karstadt Warenhaus GmbH and Thalia Holding GmbH concerning a strategic book retail partnership is to be terminated. As a result, Thalia will not take over management of the book sections of the department stores from February 2008. Both partners have amicably agreed to stop the preparations already initiated and to end this project.
