What can I expect?
The customer is the focal point in the retail sector. You will take your exam to become a trained retail salesperson after only 18 months. Then you will work in different positions in specialist teams in our headquarters and after three years in total you will become a fully qualified retail manager.
In this training you will not only get to know the sales department but also the sourcing processes and the organisation behind them.
At the same time you will be trained in business management and management control, trade marketing and sourcing/logistics at the Retail Trade Training Centre of Lower Saxony (BZE) in Springe.

What happens when I have completed the training?
Good retail managers, who have proven themselves in training and practice, will normally get a job with Karstadt after their training. After successfully completing your training you will begin working in the different positions in our specialist teams.
